Now that Riley is in school i've come across quite a few different names. What names have you come across that are different but you do like them now.

Mine are.....

Romeo (At first i thought this was strange but i really like it and it fits him)
Rocco (Pre Madonna Rocco)
Brooks
Alisa.....the second half is pronounced Lisa

Well a couple of my kids have very different names : Tana and Merrick. Of course I love both those names, but they do throw people for a loop!

Someone here in town named their daughter Nyke~after the athletic shoe. I don't like it, just this morning i was joking to my son i should have named him Addidas or Hush Puppy!

Samantha has a Tamryn in her class.

Meghan has a boy named Nadim in her class. I thought that was very intersting. She was also very friendly with a little girl named Shauny. I have a little girl on my cheer squad named Callie, now thats a name you just don'thear anymore!

I've always loved Calista like Calista Flockhart (aka Ally McBeal)!!

My dd has a Prophet, Sirina and Yzabel.
She's even got a London!! I felt bad cuz I didn't believe her (Disney's London and all)
until I went to parent night and saw it there! lol

My kids are Saige and Jaina so they are a little different as well.
We just named our kittens Mollee and Jaxon too!

We carpool to preschool with a Rocco. My son has a Renyia in her class. It isn't pronounced anywhere near how it looks. The other odd one is Eythanial. Very strange to me. Then there is Amari, Amara in a past class, and tons of the normal popular names of the moment: Tristan, Aidan, Taylor, Brandon.
