When you found yourself on your own again what was harder for you.... having everything on your shoulders without the support day to day...... or the lonliness?

Before my ex left I had always shouldered everything, all he did was pay his truck payment and contribute to the housework. Even though we spent very few hrs together after he left I was incredibly lonely.

I can't imagine! With my daughter it's been only me. I think the day that changed I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

I was doing everything before he left so that didnt change much. But the lonliness is horrible. My kids get lots of hugs. I'm lucky they are very lovey!

For me, having everything fall on my shoulders is hard. Financially, it is easier and yet it is harder. It's easier because I know how much money I have to work with and my bills are always paid each month. However, it's harder because it's always in the back of my mind that I am the sole provider of my household. That means, if I loose my job, our house is in jeopardy, there is no one else to fall back on. This by far worse for me.

After the divorce was final, I went a couple years without anyone, it got a little lonely, but it wasn't anything I couldn't handle.
