What would be a good deoderant to buy for my soon to be 10 yr old? I know they make special deoderant for younger girls, but what about boys? We don't want him to have anything like Old Spice or Axe!!!! The little girls are already crazy enough about him

My nephews use Bod, it comes in different smells.. Have them check it out.. If they have a choice they are more apt to use it.

The only thing in the deo for girls is a lighter, fluffier scent. I would just get a no scent deo, but one of the ones with a thinner head. Degree is a winner.

I'd just let them pick a scent...which is how they market it to younger kids, but I don't think it's formulated any differently.

I let Matt pick out what he wanted. I don't even remember what it is- some form of Speed Stick I think.

Andy doesn't need it quite yet, but he likes to use the Old Spice kind that his dad uses. LOL He got one of those trial sizes in his stocking last year. I figure within the next year he'll actually NEED to use it, so we're getting some practice of putting it on everyday.

Sarah on the other, started needing it last year, in the 1st grade. She puts off a lot of body heat, so it doesn't take long for her pits to start stinking. I bought her some Dove deodorant, in the baby powder scent.

This is sort of off subject, but I got my daughter the dove deodorant, but she said she did not want the same scent I use because it smells like Mom ewwww! So I bought her a differnt smell. Well now, she has somehow traded out with me because apparantley, mine is not the stinky one, but hers is.

They are such stinkers sometimes.
