So, we've decided to have my oldest dd's 7th bday party on a Friday night from around 5-8PM. I figure I'll feed them pizza, cake, icecream, some snack stuff. I think I'll check Oriental Trading for some type of craft thing to do but I'd like to come up with a few games to keep them busy. I don't want them running around the house for 3 hours!!! She doesn't want to do a nail party. ANY IDEAS??? Any other sites that I should check for a craft? Or even Michaels or Joanns? I'm up for anything. TIA!:D

for crafts www.discountschoolsupply.com has good cheap craft sets and they ship quickly.
Have you asked her what she wants to do? Food and chit chat will keep them occupied for half of that time. So crafts would be good, maybe painting t-shirts with fabric paint or tie-dye? Instead of a party favor they get the shirt...I'll keep thinking

MY aunt had a tote bag party for her DD when she was 9 or so...She bought a bunch of fabric totes and puffy paints and let the girls decorate them. Same concept as Stacia's idea...they take them home instead of a party favor.

Have you ever seen those flip-flops with the ribbon or fuzzy maribou stuff on them? You just buy plain flip-flops and tons of ribbon, fabric cut into strips.etc. They tie the ribbon to the strap part of the flip-flop and it looks cute when they're done. I've seen the stuff for them at HobboyLobby/Michaels.

How about baking something? Even as simple as cupcakes or fudge or something simple would be neat.
