Your son is very lucky as well. Adoption is wonderful..I was adopted. I also have a Brittany. She IS another child! We adopted her at 1 1/2 yrs. and then the vet told us she'd be a puppy (hyper) until about 5! She's 9 now and just now starting to act like an adult. Brittany's always look like they are smiling and are the happiest, sweetest dogs and are absolutely wonderful with kids!
