This is my first time doing a poll, so lets see if I did it right. I thought I would just see if I am an overprotective nut, so just take the poll so I can see. Thanks gals.

I didn't pick anything because there are so many factors to consider. The actual age of my child, their maturity level, are they responsible or not, who they going with (class trip, group of friends, chaperones, etc.), how far away it is, etc. So I may under certain conditions or I may not at all. The way I feel right now, I would only let them go if I or DH were with them.

I would assume they would not be planning this trip if it there were not enough chaperones to be with the kids. I would be okay with it.

I can say I probably would. I don't really know much about what Cedar Point is, and I don't really know your dd. I tend to trust anything the school does, though, unless I have a reason not to. I also totally trust my kiddos.

I obviously voted yes because as I told you in the other post about it, both of my kids did this in the 8th grade and did fine.

Well, I have decided that there is no reason not so send her, but since she just informed me about it, and the money is due Tuesday, and the alternator just went on the truck, we probably won't be able to send her, and I feel really bad.
