Does anyone else have kids who seem incapable of actually talking? My kids have to yell all the time, whether they are playing, asking for a drink or fighting! It drives me nuts!!!! I am a very soft spoken person and so is my dh. How did we get such loud kids?

My sister has always talked loud. And she still does. I often have to remind her that we're right there! I think it's just the way some people were made. I think kids in general tend to be louder than the rest of us--life is too exciting to be quiet.

My boys can be loud. I have to remind them all the time to stop shouting.

We just watched the movie Robots a couple of weeks ago. My favorite part was when the baby was crying and they turned the volume knob down.....In a perfect world......

My dd is so loud. Her teacher is working with her on "volume control". With 6 in the house it can get loud but she is by far the loudest and always has been. When she talks talking I will often whisper to her thinking she'll talk softer but it doesn't work very often.

my boys are very loud, even if they are just talking to the person sitting next to them. I'm constantly reminding them that they don't need to yell to be heard...but I think because they are all trying to get their point across, they tend to raise their voice. It gets very annoying when they are all talking at once and very loudly!!

I wonder if ear plugs work??

I have a loud 4 year old dd. We are working on using her inside voice.

I swear Tadhg was born with a faulty speak softly switch!! That and his hearing is probably ruined form having his Ipod in his ear 48 hours out of the 24 if he is let. Im constantly having to say like a mantra "speak quietly please I am not deaf yet!"

I feel your pain
