Ok, so dh and I had our weekend planned out and then last night my mil called to tell him that someone close to their family died, and the funeral is Sat. morning. The funeral is going to be at his parent's church, which is only like 10 minutes away from their house. The problem is that we have been going to my in-laws every weekend for the last 2 months, every week it's SOMETHING, a birthday, helping someone with yard work, etc...I know this is an entirely different situation, but for once I just want to stay at home, sleep in my own bed! It doesn't help that I am pms-ing either! I love my in-laws, but it just throws our routine with ds out of wack, they always have someone just stopping in, the phone rings non-stop, I could go on and on! I'm sorry to complain so much, but I just needed to let it out!

That stinks. How far away do they live? Is it not an option to just go to the funeral?

Can he go & you stay?
