My DS has a friendly ghost costume for Halloween. He is in K and I found out today that they have a school parade, but have to wear a brown paper bag costume. He is not happy about not being able to wear his ghost costume. Does anyone have any ideas? This is totally new to me and I am not creative! TIA!!!

Here are a couple of links - any of the Family Fun ones that use a box could be substituted with the bag, just reinforce it from underneath.

Tell him he can still be a ghost on Halloween. Good Luck.

Thanks for the ideas and the links! I was brainstorming last night and thinking maybe he coul still be a ghost. I could paint the bag and his face white, have him wear a white t shirt and carry a sign that says BOO on it... Thanks again!!!

Great ideas and links! I just found out my son has to wear a paperbag costume too. I was worried since I am far from being Martha Stewart.

I personally am going as a bag of groceries. I'm the coordinator for school boxtops/campbells/kemps, so I will use it to promote those products. and since we want parents who have target red cards to designate the school as fundraiser I will use a Target grocery bag.
