We did the whole eloping thing when we got married but the next year my brother and his wife had the big fancy wedding. I will never forget being mortified when my Mom jumped on on of the groomsmens back and he trotted across the dance floor with her while song song about "Let me ride that thang" played. It was absolutely mortifying for me and my brother but now years later, eveyrone still laughs and talks about it.

We danced to When you say nothing at all by Allison Krause..... but when we arrived at the reception they played " are you ready to rumble" and we came in dancing to that

It really took everyone by surprise and had everyone up on their feet clapping and dancing along! It was great!

We didn't get that crazy. However we did have my fil play the guitar and my sil & fil sing. The song we had them play was: To be with you by Mr Big. Here's the link for those of you who aren't sure what song this is.MySpace.com - mr big - BEVERLY HILLS, California - Classic Rock / Metal / Jam Band - www.myspace.com/mrbigband1259

No video of the Time Warp dance at the wedding. That was back in 92 & folks didn't routinely tape weddings back then.

Haha, what a great idea! So when the dj or whoever announced "Welcome for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. So-and-so", you came busting in to that song? That's awesome! I'm sure everyone was surprised about that one!

We couldn't dance to "our" song b/c it wasn't really appropriate for a first dance... Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne. So we had the wedding party and ourselves introduced to it.

We did dance to "Love of a Lifetime" by Firehouse. This was a great 80's song that my DH introduced me to. And our last dance was to Garth Brooks "Unanswered Prayers"
