There are always lessons to be learned. Some of us, like myself, learn the hard way and some learn the easy way.
Being financially successful is not always the most important thing in life. It just depends on your defintion. You can be wealthy monetarily or you can be wealthy in your lifestyle and how you choose to make the most of your life.
I am not wealthy by any means with money. We are jsut getting by right now, we have thrown money out the door and not made the best decisions from time to time with money and now we are paying for it. Recently, I just had a pay cut and my DH doesn't work at the moment. We currently have about 7 credit cards all maxed out.

Last night, I took the first step to our financial success and I cut up all but one credit card. I now have two jobs and my DH will have two jobs by the end of April. Although we are in a really bad situation right now doesn't mean that we feel like it is the end of the road. I have chosen to take our lives and start new. We are going to work on our credit cards and we have a goal to get a house in the near future hopefully and stop renting
My story is not a true success yet, but if we keep our goals in mind and be patient it will be. But I have learned some very valuable lessons over the last year and you can't take money for granted it won't always be there. You have to be thankful for what you have because it won't be there forever.
I am not wealthy financially, but I am wealthy in the love that I have for God and my family.
Just know that even though times are tough, you will make it through. There are just lessons that have to be learned.
