Let's try to get to know each other a little bit. Who are you, and what do you hope to accomplish by participating in the FTJ Bootcamp?

I'm Amy and I have way too much credit card debt. Before I was married and had kids I stuck to a very strict budget, but somehow that went out the door. I need to get back on track.
I feel like I am frugal but we are still in the hole every month.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 29 years old and totally not where I thought I'd be financially. I screwed up royally in college and then married a financially irresponsible husband. We fight all the time about money, and actually just today I found out our account is so overdrawn that there's no way for me to fix it and we're in real trouble come next pay.
I'm hoping this is the kick in the butt we all need to become better stewards of our money

I'm Dee and we encountered our credit card debts during the times dh was unemployed and when he went back to college. Our main goal in life is to pay down that debt.

I'm Jen, and though I think we're pretty frugal, I'd like us to get a better grip on our money. I've been a SAHM with a very, very minimal part time job, and I really think we could make it comfortably on DH's income, if we can figure how to! I'm still looking for work, but I want that to be a bonus, and I'd like to bank that money, in case we have #2 and I am forced to stay home again for health reasons. If possible, I'd like to find a way to stay home anyway. DH is fine with me being home when there isn't money problems and the bills are paid, its when things get behind, he gets antsy.

I learned a lot about why I cannot have a credit card when I was in college, and I no longer have one, and since have paid back my father who bailed my butt out. I would like to pay off at least one of our vehicles, and then be able to sell/trade it within a year and have a larger vehicle (paid with cash) that can actually seat more than 2-3 people in it. If I have a "long" term goal, that's it.

My name is Mauri. We have managed to pay off all but one credit card but we always have something that keeps us from building a savings account. I would love to be able to save enough so that if we had an emergency, we wouldn't have to run up the credit cards again.

I am Pamela and we accumilated our debt when I became a SAHM 8 years ago. It was the best decision ever, but I was not prepared to stay at home mentally and I spent like I still had a job. I am here to get rid of our debt and live CC free. Once we acheive this I will add to my dream.

I'm Kim and have been living frugally pretty much my entire life. My goals with the FTJ project are to set some new goals according to our values, interests, and hobbies. I'd also like to accelerate the paydown of our mortgage (maybe refinance this year while rates are super low) and build up more savings.

I'm Heather *waves hi*. I'm 35 and a mother of 4 (3 living at home) and would like to pay down our nonsecured debt and to be able to start college funds for our children. I know it doesn't seem like much of a goal, but to me that would help out my peace of mind oh so very much. Plus, I hope to gain new insights into why I spend what I do and if I can find a way to improve my habits and to hopefully help teach my children more lessons on spending.
