Anyone who went through our spending freeze, you MUST tune in to Oprah on Monday 3/2. She is doing something similiar with two families. She's challenging them to go seven days without shopping, spending or wasting. Here's a preview:

i saw the comercial for it looks interesting. they one chick said she had 50-60 boxes of granola bars. ok i stock up but i can't imagine using that many granola bars before they went bad lol.

I saw that too lol! I am excited to watch it, I think a lot of us could be on it!
I think Monday Dr. Phil is about couponing/saving. Not 100% sure but I think that's what I saw, I love the shows w/money tips!

Just watched the Oprah episode here on the East Coast. Basically 2 families with different circumstances were challenged to live without for a week or so. It was a very interesting episode as you can see how others live. One family had enough groceries for a year! They had to do without grocery shopping for anything other than perishables and had to walk the kids to school...a whole 2 blocks. It was interesting to see the resistance from the kids at first. No new tips or suggestions but an interesting cultrual study. Definitely see it if you can!
