I never thought I'd say it, but I am looking forward to the spending freeze! I'm tracking my spending this month and then divided it into 2 columns...were they needs or wants....The wants heavily outweighed the needs and THAT needs to change...I'm looking forward to the refresher!

Oh goodness where do I start? My dh retires from the military in one year. I need to stockpile some more cash (I have two months saved - would like to save another month or two.)
Pay off/pay down credit cards and save, save, save! I'm looking forward to the spending freeze in January too!
Continue to look at ways to cut the budget - right now I feel that I"m suffering from too much frugality!

We are in!

I loosly followed the one last year and really got a good kickstart with the spending freeze and modified spending freeze. Also, documenting "needs" vs "wants" and really looking at what our whole family needs and not what my husband or I wanted. We did quite well and were able to not use our credit cards at all, actually pay off and down our cards and other high interest items. I actually got the interest rate down on our only card from 7.9% to 4.9%! I learned a lot and hope to pick up some more tips this time around!
