... And we're off! I'll be bringing you some steps every couple days, so make sure you stick with us! Here are our first two steps of the week. When you get this done, be sure to check in and let us know how it goes.
CREATE A GIFT/EXPENSE SPREADSHEET
Who will you need to buy for this holiday season? Write down
everyone you need to buy for from your kids and spouse to teachers, coaches, and babysitters. Thay way, when you find a great deal (which we'll also be helping you with), you can snatch it up and check that person off your list.
SET A HOLIDAY BUDGET
Before you even set foot in a store, come up with a holiday budget. Besides gifts, be sure to include holiday expenditures such as greeting cards and postage, holiday clothing, office incidentals, and so forth. Use your gift spreadsheet to tally the gifts you’ll need to buy and their estimated expense. If in doubt, overestimate what things will cost (it's always a good idea to overestimate rather than underestimate). It will be our goal to come in under budget this year, and we'll provide tips and suggestions on how to do so.
