Got mine done! We used a new tab in our 2008 budget spreadsheet to do this a while ago. I've never budgeted for Christmas before and I'm appalled at how much we even plan to be spending.

I have my list done, and DH and I were just discussing the budget this morning. Now, I need to put it on paper.

When you're done check in here!

Did you get your spreadsheet and budget completed? How many of you were surprised at the total?

Did you remember to include items like greeting cards/postage, holiday apparel, and office gifts? What other things do you spend money on that some people fail to budget for? Let's try to name EVERYTHING so there are no surprises.

Groceries for baked goods and containers to hand them out in is one often forgotten too.
