How are you doing going into the home stretch? Do you have your gifts wrapped? Your meals planned?

All the gifts that are here are wrapped! I am still expecting a few items, but it won't be a tragedy if they don't arrive (they were items I picked up as extras using online codes and credits).

We usually host DH's mother's side for Christmas Eve, about 40 plus our 6. I usually cook and bake for everyone, but we decided that this year I will bake the turkey and a few sweets and the rest could be carried in. So, this week I'm baking a bit (actually the kids are baking and making candy for home ec.) and making sure everything will be here for the turkey and dressing. I already have the turkey, bread crumbs, and onions ready in the freezer. I need to go through my partyware to be sure I have enough napkins. Then, I'm set. So far, so good!

I am a little behind but I am off tomorrow so I am planning on trying to get caught up. I have a large handmade project to get done for my oldest DD tomorrow, or she will be the child that doesn't get hers. I am making fleece blankets for each of my kids. I have two done now and one left.

I have several of the packges wrapped, all gifts bought, some of the handmade stuff done, and my Christmas cards have been mailed out.

So I am behind but not stressed yet.

Why can't I get those dang cards done? I'm off of work now too, so I should be able to whip through the rest of my organizing. Had a bit of a crimp in my plans today because we had another snow day. I'm playing Rummy and Trouble instead of wrapping the rest of the gifts!

I need to work on cards and darn it if I didn't find something I need to mail. Plan on getting that out tomorrow and I'm gonna make some fudge to stick in there.

Santa needs to get wrapped this week and I have 30 gift baskets to make up for DHs gifts for his managers and the kids teachers. 50#s of fudge down, 150# more to go!

I had my cards addressed, stamped, ready to go... just was waiting on dh who said he'd write our letter this year. Well, they sat and sat for about two weeks. He's finally done with the letter, so hopefully the cards will go out within a couple days!

Family photo--Done!
Christmas cards--Done and mailed!
Presents--most have been purchased and wrapped...but I still have a couple difficult people left on my list. I still have time though! I also have one b-day present to buy for a party this Sat. I'm trying to pawn that job off on my DH though. Its his bro. after all.

I'm waiting to get through my oldest's birthday tomorrow before wrapping Christmas presents, but I have everything bought.

I have some of my Christmas cards out.

We are having a neighborhood get together at our house on Friday, and I have the menu planned for that.
