This sounds pretty much what I did for the first spending freeze, so I will just continue the same way

DH and I pretty much discussed doing this very thing a couple days ago. So, no problem! Already working on my new approved spending list.

Have I mentioned how much I'm enjoying this?

Dh and I talked about this and we are going to stay on the same path. We really want out of this debt. So we are all out.

His great saying now is "We do what we have to, To do what we want to do."
so here it goes.

You hit on a lightbulb moment I had while dong the spending freeze- the times I really felt like going shopping was when I was bored and "needed" to go out and do something! I am really going to focus on that one cause i think that is one of my downfalls!

Thanks Kim!

Sounds like a good next step. The one thing I think I might add is some kind of reward for myself when I reach a dieting goal. If I know I can get something a little frivolous that I want after meeting a goal that will motivate me more than other things I think!

Sounds good to have some flexablity in spending. I like still being on a freeze but I really do like to plan to have a social life too.
