After Phase Four (Paying Down Debt) we'll be on to.... DECLUTTERING! I know a lot of you have been waiting for this phase. Jump right in, even if you haven't been following the other FTJ steps to date. Right now I'm trying to get a head count for those who will be participating with us.

I've actually done this step back in September when the kids went back to school. I cleaned out every closet and nook and cranny! I'm at the tail end, actually, with the house remodel going on right now. I don' want any unnecessary stuff cluttering up our new space. So, have fun ladies!

I find this is an ongoing phase. I too did it last year but have found that by doing one room per month there is always de-cluttering to be done. In February I did the master bedroom again. Last time I did it was when we had summer clothes in the closet. This time we have winter clothes so I think it was a good idea. This month is the younger twins room. They will be 12 this year and a lot of toys can be put in a bin for a garage sale. Can't wait for warmer weather to attack the now too cold basement.

IM IN!!

Im not caught up w/ the other steps, but im glad you are encouraging all of us that are behind to just jump right in to this one, and continue to work on catching up in the mean time. Thanks Kim!
I've already done some decluttering... i've given away like 3 or 4 boxes full of stuff we havent used... I probable should have sold it, but didn't want to go through the hassle.

I'm in... haven't been around much because we already have a budget that is working for us, and we don't have debt, so I'm looking forward to jumping back in with these steps.

I would love to declutter my house. We are always saving things because we may need them. Or we just don't want to get rid of them. I have done some simple shelf clearing, but have tons to do. The basement.... attic.... etc...
