I'm new to this board and would love to try this as I also love target. it's going to be hard here too as we will also be leaving on vacation.
My rules will be:
1. grocery shopping only
2. birthday presents only
3. one souvener for each kid while on vacation--reasonably priced.
4. one present for father's day.
5. no garage saleing--this will be very hard as I love a good garage sale.

I hope I can stick to this.

I'm looking forward to this phase also. Gas in my area is now $3.81.

A little late, but I just made my list....I did wonderful on the total spending freeze, and feel that a modified freeze/mindful are actually a little harder.
On my list are groceries/gas (of course), father's day gift, wedding gift for a friend, and some expenses related to my own wedding in July. It is a second wedding, and simple, on the beach--yet there are still expenses....shoes, jewelry, favors....I'm handwriting our invitations, so that will be a money saver in itself

Approx. three weeks. I have about ten steps for mindful spending and think they'll all be posted by early June.
