"In jr high, I wanted to be an interior designer....which is really funny to think about because it took me 7 years to paint any of the walls in my house anything other than white. "
This is so funny, because that could be me! I have wanted to be many things in life, from a teacher to special ed children (I used to babysit for several families that had special needs children and I guess I had a knack for it because they passed my name around) but then realized I was too emotionally sensitive for the job, so then I wanted to be an interior designer, but again, too emotionally sensitive and when it occurred to me that someone may not LOVE your work, I decided I didn't want to deal with rejection (this is so funny to me now, since before being a SAHM I had a very successful career in sales), so then I went on to want to be a family or marriage counselor (I have no idea now why this appealed to me, go figure) and of course now I realize that I am doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing and I have never felt more fulfilled!
