How are you doing with spending/budgeting? What do you have planned for this week? What steps can you take to declutter your home or make strides towards the things that are important to you?

I will be blogging mine later on today...

As far as spending we have a big event coming up so I will need to buy all the last minute items. I just don't go overboard.
As far as decluttering. I am the coordinator for my dd's school trash to cash program and I have boxes of milk caps and campbells and boxtops. They are in one spot but I want to mail in as much as I can this week to get the pile under control. The buckets at school are full and I will need to bring more home.

I think my spending will be Nickled and Dimed this week. We are over our big event. My little Girl turned 2! yesterday. We so over bought on the food we will be eating leftovers for a week. Which is tough because eating party food for a week isn't all that healthy. You can only take so much of turkey sanwiches and Potato salad. Still I need to pick up a cake for our "Friend" party. I have around 20 moms and little ones meeting us for birthday cake. And I have some mailing to do today. Oh and a drs apointment this week, Its the Spring Fair this weekend, I am doing a charity walk on Saturday and going to a b-day party Sunday. So just a lot of little things this week.

As far a decluttering I will start back in as soon as I recover from the birthday party mess and get caught back up on laundry. I have 2 rooms down.

Ya Know, This Has Been The Hardest Step Yet.. And Not For A Good Reason. I Haven't Got To Do It As In Depth As I Would Like. We Moved Into This House And Everything Got Pulled Out From Under Us, So I Can't Unpack Anything We Are Living Out Of Boxes. The Only Thing That Are Unpacked Is The Bare Bare Necessities For The Kitchen And Bathroom And Our Closet. Very Frustrating... I Hope Things Get Back To Normal Soon So I Can Purge Purge Purge!!

As Far As Spending, One Of Our "ma And Pa" Stores Is Going Out Of Business So I'm Holding Out To Get Some Great Deals On There 50% Or 75% Off Sales.. After That I'm Not Spending A Dime For A Month At Least!!

I've not been doing so well, so I need this kick in the butt. Last wk was spring break, and dh & ds were home, so we ended up eating out or getting carry out a lot (ONE of my many vices!!) Plus it's nearing the end of my dd's senior year and there just seems to be big expense after big expense. We did prom dress shopping this wknd Need I say more. So I'm going to go to the grocery and get back on the home cooked plan....saves money and my health as an added bonus. So keep kicking my butt back into shape

My husband has been BEGGING for take out (um, so what does this say about my cooking?), but I keep telling him that I already have supper planned. I've saved us $60.00 just by saying NO!

My goals for the week are to spend $0 unnecessary ~ declutter the kitchen/pantry/living room/dining room. Just getting that done would be amazing in my book!

I already did my shopping for this week today. I am hoping to get away without buying gas, so I shouldn't need to spend any more money.
As for decluttering, my inlaws brought 2 bags of books that were my husband's, so I made him go through the bookshelves and get rid of a bunch because he wants to keep some of them. I need to find a used bookstore now. And I have a big stack of books that I want to read and then get rid of. Books are a very hard things for me to declutter, so I've been trying not to let any more in.
I need to get back to work on my office closet some more.

I was so bad last week....The kids were at my parents for Sprink break and DH and I were getting the house ready to list (It's officially on the market now!) and my days were so crazy we ate out twice (Chinese was one of them, so that went for 2 nights). I need to get back on track....maybe another spending freeze is in order.
Decluttering has NOT been as issue...I am filling up bags left and right. Just not the sentimental stuff....That comes later when I can actually take the time to deal with it.

Hmmm...interesting...would it be easier to just get rid of it (memory clutter), or is it better to take my time getting rid of it (breakign the attachment so to speak)?
