I am starting over with the Forget the Jonses Project. I never get very far normally, but I promised my dd that she could go to horse camp and I only have 18 days to come up with the money. So I will be happy to use the spending freeze to 'save' the money for that. Plus school starts in the first week of August here, and this year I have 3 kids to buy supplies for.
I'm excited to see what I can do!

Just started on July 12 with the FTJ project. It took a while to get DH convinced that we needed to do this. he says that he will get on board since I have saved $100.00 in three weeks on groceries just by being subscribed to mommysavers. he thinks that if we are both in this together that we can save even more! I also was able to get some cc paid off during the past three weeks!

Well I fell off the wagon for the 21 day freeze and know that next week I will be stocking up on a few things with coupons from Costco - kind of an annual thing and it is better to buy them know with coupons than later without them so I will just get them over the next two weeks while the coupons are good. We won't buy extra things just things that are necesities. I have to say though that in the last month or so since I have joined I have been really good and haven't bought much in the way of extras and have been looking for ways to save money and I think we are doing a great job of it.
