I don't even know where to begin. We are still on vacation until the 18th. When we get home, I will have to buy groceries and there is Father's Day coming up. I will do the best that I can this first week, but I hope that I will have better success in in the following weeks.

On my list is Milk, fresh fruits and veggies, and toilet paper. I should have enough gas to get me through. My hope for the week is to not spend more than $20.

I was already tempted today by the drive thru Starbucks. I resisted though! Victory!

If you're on vacation this week, feel free to try the spending freeze next week instead when you're back to "normal." I hope you have a great vacation!

Gas and toll money (have to get to work to earn this money to save after all haha)

Milk, fruit/veggies

We should be all set otherwise. Hubby is on board for now and has almost a full tank in the truck so I don't think there is any cost there we'll need

So for this week at any rate, we're good

We'll need gas, milk, eggs, bread, toilet paper, and fruit.. I'm going to try not to spend over $25 on groceries and $30 on gas. I also need $5 for the rest of my father's birthday gift, and about $3 for the supplies to make father's day gifts. And DH has a $25 parking violoation that needs to be payed.

I'm so glad this is starting up again!! I needed it -- with DH's unemployment ending next month and all his medical problems, we need to create some self-control in our finances to stretch as far as we can.

This week's approved spending list so far (I hope I don't have to add too much!):
WIC (doesn't really count..)
$425 for insurance coverage
tea bags

We are starting bootcamp this week and DH is TOTALLY on board. Aproved spending list is:

Milk/Juice and
fresh fruits and veggies total groceries $40
payment for private swim lessons $25 - already have the money put aside
gas for DH car $25
Wedding gift - already have the money put aside

I had been planning to start this week because we are now in a six week cycle of summer activites. School is done, special events are done, all the running around is done. We just had a major disagreement about money/spending yesterday so this is perfect timing!

A SAHM of 4 kids and a dh with a good job, we've found ourselves living from paycheck to paycheck. This will be a wonderful place to start for us. My dh already loves you!
