How long can cookie dough be frozen? If it's the kind with yeast, you let it rise or rest before you freeze it right?

I want to do several kinds next Christmas but it's hard when you have to make and bake so many at once. I do ok but resting times always mess me up. I am thinking it would be better to do make a batch freeze it and then thaw when ready.

I have never heard of a cookie with yeast but I would assume you freeze it then let it rise after you thaw it to use. I dont know

I start 2 months ahead actually baking cookies and just freeze the already baked ones......they turn out purfect and you would never know they were frozen.Make sure to layer them with,oh I just went retarded...what's that waxey paper called?Anyway like them and load them into plastic containers.

Not sure about the dough question...sorry.I know you freeze just about any dough but not sure about the yeast ones.
