I buy a big pork roast, bag of frozen pearl onions, two cans of italian crushed tomatoes.

Put onions in the bottom of a slow cooker and put roast on top. Then, pour tomatoes on top and cook 5 hrs. on low OR 8 on hi.

after cooking, shred the meat, put back into the slow cooker and add your favorite BBQ sauce recipe (I can't give mine away, because It's a secret- we've won 4 local cook off's with the stuff!) cook until warm and serve on a large roll or on top of texas toast.

We use 1/3 for our nights meal (and have leftovers for lunch the next day) , then freeze the rest in two separate containers (three full meals plus enough for 3 leftover meals total!)

I make pulled pork and freeze it as well! My only question though, is how long can you keep it frozen before it goes bad?

I go buy the three month rule. I don't know, it may be able to be frozen even longer than that? Not sure.
