Ok, girls. Trying to stock up the freezer with all kinds of veggies. Can you tell me is there any veggie that does not freeze well?? Anything that when it thaws out, it is gross and non edible?? thank you!

With freezing veggies you will need to blanch some of them. However, anything with a high water content will not so cabbage, lettuce, cukes, tomatoes (unless you will cook with them).

My aunt freezes zucchini & yellow squash slices to use in stir fry recipes. she says that they come out fine as long as you cook them. I am also attempthing to freeze chopped onion to use in pasta sauce or whatever else. I had about a 1/4 cup left over last time i made sauce. I usually buy frozen onions at the supermarket, so i figured it would work.
