Wave chicken nuggets

good morning ladies, I was just curious if anyone makes their own chicken nuggets for the freezer? I would love to have a great recipe for this! I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

2 c potato chips (ya can even do doritos)
1 egg
2 Tbs milk
6 chicken breast , cut into cubes
1/3 cup butter, melted


Preheat oven to 350.
Spread the crushed potato chips in shallow dish.
Beat together the egg & milk in a shallow bowl.
Dip the chicken cubes into egg mixture & then dredge them in the chips.
Place the chicken nuggets on a baking sheet & drizzle with melted butter.
Bake for 15-18 min,til golden brown.

just freeze after baking!

Mmm Thats a good idea! i didnt know that I could use chips. and I always thought I had to fry chicken nuggets! Mommy2mercedes you should make your own cook book. searously!

1/4 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 c milk
1 egg
1/2 c dry Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1 Tbs parmesan cheese
1 lb chicken breasts, cut into ½ strips or chunks
1 Tbs margarine, melted


Heat oven to 400.

mix flour, salt and pepper.

In another bowl beat together milk and egg.

Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese on a plate.

Coat chicken strips in flour mixture then dip in egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
Place chicken on baking sheet, drizzle with melted butter or margarine.
Bake 12-15 min,til chicken is fully cooked and no longer pink in center.


Let cool for 30 min.

TO FREEZE:
Place each serving in a heavy-duty plastic food storage bag and freezes up to 1 month.

FOR LUNCHBOXES:
Put frozen nuggets in a lunch box at room temp will thaw in 3 hours.

We dont really care for the deep fried kind after they have been frozen....breaded reheats better.

The first recipe is another great way to use up what ends up left in the bottom of the chip bag

The 2nd recipe is prob our fave though!
