Commercial bread I just throw in the freezer as is and I've never had soggy or dry bread once thawed. For those of you that have had soggy, dry or funky tasting bread...were the loaves in the freezer for a long time? I ask because I've been freezing store bought bread forever now and have never experienced anything like that but then again the bread is never in the freezer for longer than a week or two depending on how much I bought. Oh and I'm part of the "counter thawing" club LOL.
Now my problem is freezing my homemade bread. I need help with this one as I'm no longer purchasing bread but making it all and can't say I'm 100% happy with my bread out of the freezer. How exactly do I freeze this properly and what do you keep it in on the counter after it's thawed?
