Can you freeze turkey lunchmeat from the deli? I want to get a bunch when it goes on sale.

yes, but make sure that it is at least a little thicker than shaved (or just get sliced)....it will seem a little watery when thawed, just blot with a paper towel.

YUP, I do it all the time. I buy cooked ham in 1 lb packages from the deli, I buy about 3 at a time so I don't have to run to the store all the time. It gets a bit watery, but I just open the bag and drain out the water. Its ussually fine.

I have been doing this for years without any problems. I agree with paper towel blotting, but I do that even with lunchmeat that hasn't been frozen.

I freeze it all the time and do what everyone else has said - blot it with a paper towel. I never let in the freezer very long but when it thaws it's great! Not long ago my lunch meat was buy one pound and get the second free so I bought it and froze one of the pounds. I just got it out of the freezer this morning for lunches this week.

I do the same thing.
