Clothes

-Keep track of what you have so you don't end up with 6 short sleeve blue shirts.
-Buy on clearance.
-Buy gently used at garage sales, consignment stores, or Thrift stores.
-Hand-me-downs
-Take care of them. Look to see if there are stains before washing so you can pretreat.

Coupons

-Print off the internet.
-Let family/friends/coworkers know that you use coupons and see if they will give them to you.
-Make sure that it wouldn't be cheaper to still buy the storebrand version.
-Check your library to see if they have a box full of coupons from the papers.

Car

-Buy used. It's great if you can find one that still has a warranty. The second you drive off the lot with a new car the value depreciates.
-Keep up on routine maintenance.
-Look for coupons in the paper for oil changes.
-Wash it yourself. Cheaper than taking it elsewhere.
-Pay attention to how many mpg it gets.

Christmas

-Shop for wrapping paper and bows at after Christmas clearance sales or at Dollar Tree.
-Shop for presents throughout the year. When you find a good deal on a toy grab it and store it in a container at home.
-Make homemade presents.
-I've heard of people using the comic section as wrapping paper.
