Electricity

-When using the dryer try and do consecutive loads. This saves on energy as the dryer doesn't have to heat up each time.
Look for energy efficient applicances. Some offers rebates and tax credits.
-Check to see if your energy company offers free home audits.
-Cook in the microwave instead of the oven
-Check out off peak rates.

You can also put a lot of your plug in items (TV, DVD, VCR, Cable Box, Surround Sound, Cell Phone Chargers) onto a Surge Protector and turn it off when you're not using them.

AKA - Sale By Dates @ the grocery store - Look for great markdowns on things that the store has to get rid of. It's still good! Take it home & freeze it if you won't use it right away... you can get some great deals on sausage, milk, eggs, bread almost ANYTHING!
