-Always be on the lookout for freebies you can sign up to receive.
-Accept hand me down clothes.

Fruit

-Buy what's in season.
-Freeze berries or bananas.
-Strawberries make a great and healthy dessert.

Fabric softener

-Use vinegar instead.
-Cut dryer sheets in half.
-Buy when you have a coupon and stockpile a few.

Family vacation

-Find the cheapest way to travel. Check to see if train is available. Check for the cheapest airline tickets are. If you own a gas guzzler check into renting a more fuel efficient car.
-Look to see if some tourist spots have certain days of the week where admission is free.
-Find a hotel that has a continental breakfast.
-If traveling by car pack a picnic lunch.

Farmer's Market

-Check for local deals on vegetables, baked goods, plants/flowers.
-Some accept food stamps.

Food

-Buy on sale and plan your meals around that.
-Stockpile a pantry if you are able.
-Buy generic or storebrand.
-Check out places like Save-a-lot and Aldi's.
