Insurance

-If you can afford it get higher deductibles.
-Get a discount if you combine home owner and car insurance with one company.

Internet

-Free in libraries.
-See if your cable provider gives a bundle package discount.
-Some places also have free internet like Panera's.

Investments

-Make educated decisions.
-When you are younger you can afford to "ride it out" during harder economic times, but remember to change investments when you are nearer to retirement.

Ice cream

-Make your own at home
-Make your own ice cream toppings/sauces
-Stock up when on sale.
-If you have children look for ice cream shops that offer smaller kiddie cones. If my girls get small cones half of it ends up melting before they eat it.

If you have teen children, before you let them buy that car, we found if you put it in the parent's name verse the teen the insurance is cheaper for PLPD. Once they turn 18 you can then transfer the title to them for a $1.00 with out having to pay sales tax.

ice cubes.....

freeze left over fruit juices to flavor iced tea.

and leftover coffee for iced cappucchinos.

immunizations......

instead of paying for a Dr visit......call your local health dept...not only is it free........but here...the woman who gives the shots...well thats ALL she does all day long.......she's great......1/2 the time the kids barely feel it.

Saves money and anxiety

get rid of em.........swap slowly over to clf's to save on the electric bills.

Start planning now......look for deals at the store (this week we had bogo on hot dogs so I bought extra)

Utilize early deals........then you don't have all the cost at once.
