Lipgloss

-Make homemade lipgloss by melting some vaseline and add the leftover lipstick that you can barely get to. Mix.

My kids and I have a great way of going to the stores. We have days that we call them "Learn, Look and Leave Days" THis works great becuase I can go to the stores even stores like Toys R Us and tell them OK today is a Look, Learn and Leave day. That day we look at stuff and see whats out there but we don't buy anything. This works great. They don't even ask to buy anything becuase they know what kind of day it is I am able to go to the store get something fast for myself or just see something and not have to worry about them asking for anything. They have fun seeing new stuff without the pressure of wanting to buy it then. Hope this idea helps others.

Loss leader items

-Loss leader items are the items that stores advertise as on sale to try and get you into the store. They want to lure you in and hope you buy more. Be careful and check the dates on these products. For instance I've seen Miracle Whip on sale for around $1.00, but the date on the packaging is soon coming up. To get the best deal take those ads with the loss leader prices to Walmart and pricematch.

Less

-Use less of dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. You will save money and you won't notice a difference in the outcome.
