it was from Tadhg a few months ago at his School Graduation. He was the Vice President of the Student Council and had to give a thank you speech (The President was too shy to be a public speaker so Tadhg was his double act)
After thanking the VIPS, Priests, and Teachers he turned around to me, and thanked me for being at his side through his school life and helping his get to where he was right now (He has ADD & Dyslexia for those of you who dont know our story).
That wasnt part of the script I had rehearsed with him and I was almost in tears. It made me very proud and very very sad too because I was sitting with my brother but James was at the other end of the hall.
Just my little story and sorry it was longer than a sentence
Anne

It's just a simple and sweet "Mommy, your the best, I love you!" from my oldest about 2 years ago, he had just turned 3. It was so sweet and innocent, I'll never forget it

I think I have two stories for this.
The first one was on my birthday, when Zach was two. Dh was taking him up to bed and Zach just mutters out to me "Love you mommy". It was the first time he had ever said it...and it was on my birthday so it was extra memorable
The second one happenned last night. Dh and I had date night. I wore a skirt. Ds says to me "mommy what is that?", motioning to my skirt. Laughing I said "it's a skirt. I know, you rarely see me wearing them". He then says "Mommy, you look like Cinderella".
I actually called home to tell my parents that story!!! It was so sweet.

Ok my turn,
The cutest, nicest, sweetest thing my ds ever said to me was _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Well I have a few but the one that comes to my mind is last night we had mashed potatoes and one of my DSs took a bite, swallowed, closed his eyes in pleasure and said "mom, you are the greatest mom ever because you make the best mashed potatoes". It made me smile.
