This game is a fun way to brainstorm and get new ideas to express your love to others, and to share your creative ways of loving others. According to Dr. Gary Chapman, there are 5 love languages: physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, and gifts. Choose any love language, and post your way of expressing "I love you."

Say "I love you" with:

physical touch--massage, holding hands, hugs...
words of affirmation--i was thinking about you today...
quality time--go for a walk together, spend time talking about your day....
acts of service--help with the dishes...
gifts--tickets to concert, flowers...

for me:

love language--quality time
At the end of the day, I love to spend time with my family discussing what happened, what we learned, how we felt, and praying together before going to bed.

Physical touch.

My 4 1/2 year old and I do eskimo kisses.
My 2 1/2year old kisses my nose while I kiss her chin.
My 21 month old and I bump forheads together.

words of affirmation: I love you

This week i had to remind myself to say the words "I love you."
Sometimes I forget to say it. It feels good to hear those words. I guess Valentine's Day reminded me and made me think about it more.

That's adorable. You sound like an affectionate mommy. Your kids must feel so loved! Since my kids got a little older, I haven't been as affectionate with them as I used to be. Thanks for reminding me how special it is.
