Mommysavers is my anchor. As a navy family we tend to move around a lot, so friends come and go like seasons, but not my Mommysavers' friends. They are the
only constant in my life for four years now. The women I have met here are my rock, my saving grace, my confidantes. They quite literally "read" me like a book (

how else do we communicate ~~~ LOL LOL).
My favorite forums on this site are the Health and Fitness Forum, Soul Searching and Simple Living. It's inspiring to see us all try and improve our lives, little by little, all the while growing as individuals both spiritually and maternally, and to receive support and guidance along the way. It's so awesome to be surrounded by such positive people with genuine advice and counsel. Before coming here, I was so insecure and uncertain of myself and my abilities as a mother and good role model but now I have learned how I can build on that and be a better me. The women here build you up and make you believe you can do anything, or at least offer you tools to help you get started. Thank you for that.
Thanks to Mommysavers, I have also gained an identity. In the "real" world I am merely wife to LT Kilgore and mom to Zach and Ty. But here, I am someone who has a voice, a shoulder to cry on, a heart to heal, a sense of humor to share, and a friend to so many people who don't know me as just mom and wife. So I thank Mommysavers for giving me the chance to connect with people across these 50 states, and other countries for that matter, that I may not have been able to otherwise.
Thank you.
