I made my own yogurt two days ago and I LOVE it! I was able to make organic yogurt for 25-35% of the cost in the grocery stores!

To top it off, the yogurt maker is on sale at Amazon today so I called this morning and they credited me the $5 difference. The machine will pay for itself in a few months!

I used it instead of sour cream on our quesadillas. Yummy! I don't think I am going to buy sour cream again...I will just substitute yogurt in recipes/meals that call for it.

DD loved it with a drizzle of pure maple syrup, I put a touch of honey and vanilla extract in mine.

Even DH liked it!

OH that's awesome! Crazy as this sounds, I've never tried it like sour cream. I certainly will now. I have never tried it with maple syrup either, but I have seen it in the stores. Thanks for the great ideas.

Oh, I remembered what will make it thicker, powdered milk.
