I have it now and love it- makes it all so easy. But, when we move next month... we won't have it (wah). So we'll be packing and hauling our paper, plastic, etc. Well, it was fun while it lasted...

Nope. We could if we went with a different garbage company. But it is not worth it to me to pay what they charge !!! So we collect our recyclables in the basement and every once in awhile (when the bags start taking over ) I haul it to the recycyling center. I did it this morning
It's mandatory here. You get a free container and then we pay so much a month that is added to the water bill.
That might sound wrong--if you chose not to recycle and go over the 1 garbage can allotment than you have to pay for a sticker to have the additional garbage picked up.
we have it where we live and LOVE it we have to pay for it also but I dont' mind. It is in the garbage pick up bill and we would get charged if we did not didn't recycle. Everyone just pays it. My IL's don't recycle and it drives me CRAZY plus they get 2 papers delivered everyday GGRRHHHH.
We have it and it is SO nice. We'd probably still recycle if we didn't, but having it taken away weekly saves from the smelly garbage piling up in our garage!

No...we have to take our recycling to a recycling center. I know we would recycle more things if we didn't have to pack it up and haul it away ourselves.
