I personally do not. I have a history of cancer and am trying my best to stay away from anything that I deem questionable.

However, that being said, dh and I really mulled this one over with ds. We decided that we'd buy him the fluoride toothpaste until he was over the most cavity prone years and then switch him when he was older. I'm just afraid to have his teeth rot out if we don't use it! Dh was all for it, I was not, so that was the compromise we had to make for ds.

We don't use flouride toothpaste. Ours has tea tree oil and myrrh to fight cavities, along with xylitol. Our kids don't have flouride in their toothpaste, either, but DH wants to get some with flouride for them. I pointed out that they get a flouride treatment that they paint on their teeth at each dentist appointment, and I think that's enough. None of our kids have had cavities (oldest is 5), and we go to regular dentist checkups. Their next appointment is 9/19 and if they have cavities then, I'll go ahead and get the flouride, but I won't if there are no cavities.

I like to use the fluoride-free, but we are currently using up a bunch of FREE tubes of toothpaste. But, I don't swallow any, so I figure I'm ok.

As for the kids, I do not let them use fluoride! Recent research (I just read a huge thing on fluoride last week) is condemning the use of fluoride, especially for children. DH is totally against fluoride (in water, toothpaste or even treatments at the dentist) and he actually works for the public health service (who promotes the stuff like crazy...)

If interested, there are some very informative articles at www.mercola.com which will be eye-opening about fluoride! Use his search engine and you'll get plenty of good reading.

Yes, but we drink filtered water from the fridge and I've just learned that the filter does filter out the fluoride as well.
