I am reading this book right now and WOW!!! does it have some interesting information about the food we eat. It is about a family's journey to support themselves off of their own garden and food that is grown locally. It would be interesting and hard to do this personally. But her journey is incredible! It is by Barbara Kingsolver if anyone is interested.

I LOVE this book! And I'm not saying that I would completely follow what they've done but it has made me rethink a lot of my food purchases. I'm totally trying to buy in season. And I'm totally trying to grow / buy locally. I just learned so much from this book.

I saw a review of this, and an article on B. Kingsolver, in a magazine awhile back. Thanks for the reminder... I'd love to read it!
