I love them! Non-toxic, I can breath when I use it and I feel like I cleaned something...gotta love it. I use the all purpose in the bathroom or buy the bathroom cleaner. I'm that the type that sprays handles etc. for germs and I once used to spray bleach, but my god I couldn't breathe afterwards, then I switched to Rubbing Alcohol which they use in hospitals and that works but I like the Clorox even better.

I agree with Thriftygal, certain things I don't want to make. Years ago, I used to make my own soap, because I have severe allergies to perfume, and that took so much effort, I don't have that much time any more. I used to make my own soap powder too, again the same thing...I have to buy fragrance free soap powder for $2.50 and Clorox Green for $2.50. I buy dish detergeant for $2.12-(the giant bottle at Walmart that lasts me months)-but I will break out with vinegar/baking soda to clean in the kitchen.

maybe you should re-read my post i did say that if someone simply does not want to make home made cleaners maybe it is a good choice.... i just think that if you wanted to be truly green would you not make it your self that was what i was saying(since cleaning solutions are pretty simple to make and not to time consuming...)

i just find it funny all these companies trying to be green but if you look at some of the products(not this one per say) that they are not always as green as they seem.. its almost as if being green is the new cool... don't get me wrong i could never make my only laundry detergent i just try to buy the best i can afford with no perfumes and dyes and recycle my containers...

I haven't tried them...I'm very particular about what I clean with because I'm so sensitive to chemical odors.

I think Clorox is definately catering to the 'green' movement...it just makes business sense for them. They also purchased Burts Bees in the past year. Other companies are doing similar things - Palmolive bought Tom's of Maine.

I am just trying to do what I can in terms of being more green. I am not ready to go full fledged green yet. I feel like I am doing my part by purchasing better products such as Clorox green works, Arm and Hammer essentials and palmolive eco dishwash detergent. I am working on buying the reusable shopping bags. I have also quit buying paper plates and bottled water (I bought a brita).

Thriftygal - I think we're all at different spots when it comes to going green and I figure any improvement that we are making is a plus. You've quit buying bottled water! I know how hard of a step that is.

I haven't bought the Clorox Green Works personally but I have bought, Method (is that what it is called?). It's the stuff that they sell at Target. I won't say that I use it all the time but I have to admit sometimes it's nice to hang up the vinegar and try something that smells yummy!

Clorox owns the Brita brand too...LOL. Ironic huh?

but I still think it's all about the money to the companies. They have to change with the times.

Exactly! The companies want to keep their market share. If consumers want green products, they will offer green products to keep from losing them to another company. It's really all about the bottom line.

Oh the irony!

I do think alot of companies are trying to cater to the green movement. Good for their profits and good for those who don't want to make their own products.

I LOVE Method's furniture polish. It cleans and shines so well, and it smells delish!

I haven't tried these products yet, I prefer my homemade stuff, vinegar, water, lemon, baking soda, stuff I already have on hand.
