When Grocery deals are posted here on Mommysavers, we try to include the coupon for you too.

There are Several diffrent ways to get coupons and we will try to break it down for you here. You will see any of the following abbreviations, I'm going to tell you how to use them.

IP Internet Printed
MC Manufacturer Coupon
SS SmartSource
RP Red Plum
V Valassis
CC Coupons.Com
PG Procter &Gamble
OC Online coupon


On your Inserts that you find in your Sunday Paper, you will usually see Red Plum, SmartSource, or P&G. If you CAN, try to keep those inserts intact.(Most of us just clip all the coupons we need and throw all the paper away) On the spine of the top page of the insert, you will see a date of the Sunday you got that insert. So when you see SS 10/12 next to a grocery deal, You can find your smart source insert from 10/12 and find the coupon easily you need to get the deal.

Same goes for IP or OC coupons. You may see CC next to the deal, and that will instruct you to go to Coupons.com to print the coupon you need. At the top of the page here at Mommysavers, we have a coupon printer that is connected to coupons.com. If the coupon is Smartsource, you will see SSOC or SSIP.
