We have Jewel, Dominicks, Super Target, Super WalMart, Aldi's and Meijer as our major chains here. Love to go to WM but it's in a different town. I tend to go to Target, Aldi or Meijer for my grocery runs and Costco for my larger runs.

What do you prefer?

I have different favorite stores for different things. In my town I do the major part of my grocery shopping at HyVee, but there are some things that I always buy at WalMart. I also make regular trips to Aldi's and Sam's (half an hour away) for certain items.

Publix is my favorite grocery store. We don't always shop there though because it is over 30 minutes away. But the quality of their meats/produce/bakery is really good.

I am from Chicago too, and I do most of my shopping at Walmart. I buy meet and produce at Josephs (Which is a produce market) the meat is really fresh and the produce is beautiful and cheap. I go to Jewel and Dominicks for specialty stuff or for pop when is on sale.

I grocery shop between Shop 'n Save and Walmart. Their prices usually run about the same for the items we regularly buy. The time of day that I go shopping will determine which store I'll drive to.
