Ahhh...dh was helping me and stopped at grocery store to get a few items on way home from work. He grabbed the wrong package. The bag next to it was on sale for $0.99. The one he grabbed was $5.29. And he got 2 of them. I have never returned food. Anyone know if you can? Or am I just out the $8.50?

Sure, just tell them that you grab the wrong brand and your family won't/can't eat that brand. As long as you haven't open it and since it was fairly recent, even take the receipt in.

If nothing else, they will give you store credit, which is ok too!

Most definitely you can return food as long as the package hasn't been opened. If you have the resipt, you should be able to get cash back. Depending on the stoe, if you don't have the receipt, you may get cash back, or you may get store credit.
