Can you? Price match generics at Walmart? I see good deal on generics in the ads, but obviously Walmart is going to have different brands. I am going to attempt price matching for the first time this afternoon. And for some reason Im nervous. Afraid the checker is going to give me attitude or something. I wish I could go in the morning, but cant wait till Monday.

I tried it once and they wouldn't let me. I tried to match Shoprite's store brand bread, with Great Value bread and they wouldn't let me do it.

I do at our walmart.

Just go to the service desk and ask them what their policy is on matching one stores brand, with theirs.

I'm not sure I need to ask at our walmart because I've thought about doing that also I just finally asked them if they take internet coupons and they do so does our meijer thankfully!

It depends on the individual store. Walmart's policy is that they match price on the exact same item so that would leave out store brands. Some Walmart's do match store brands. None of mine do though. Just stop at the service desk and ask before you do your shopping.
