It is cheaper for us.I pay $2 for one and $2.35 for another each day when they want school lunches and paying for them both for cold lunches was over $15 per week buying juice boxes and so on and making a lot homemade so it is so much cheaper during the summer.

I don't think mine goes up because they usually have alot of good meat deals for the summer holidays and I stock up accordingly. We do alot of picnics so the kids don't mind not getting "consesssions" when we go places.
Until my own garden starts producing I tend to spend more on fresh veggies at farmers market but that is b/c I get soooo excited about the years first veggies.

I don't really see any change. Either they buy hot lunch at school (close to $2 each) or they take their lunch. They eat lunch at home or take their lunch to summer school during the summer. So no major changes. Also, I always take my lunch to school (I work at a school) so no change for me either. Actually, we usually don't feel like eating as much during the hot weather, so it may actually go down.

Not too much here! I pay about 50.00 a month into their lunch accounts at school , so I won't have that. I also start to stock up lunch favorites every week within the month of may - so I am more prepared come june

ours stays about the same once the garden comes in we blessed with alot of veggie .. we are at the lake house ...
we blessed with alot of fish .
