I remember as a kid my mother always did her grocery shopping on Saturday. (Every Saturday). I guess dad must of gotten paid on Friday's. (Don't really know though). I usually do my shopping sometime through the beginning of the month, like the first Monday or Tuesday but it really all depends on my schedule.

Is there a particular day that you set aside to do your grocery shopping? Is there a particular reason why you shop on this day?

I normally shop on Fridays just because my DH gets paid Thursday nights and also because then I have all my meals planned out for a week ahead.

I usually go on Sundays since dh doesn't work and i get my sale ads in the Sunday paper. It's just such as hassle to wait for him to get home from work then go because by the time he takes a shower and I get back from shopping it is so late.

I am really bad , and I just wing it and go a few times a week , here there and everywhere. Today I am going to costco , yesterday I stopped at the local grocery store.
I used to go every single Thursday , for years my Dh got his direct deposit on thursday morning or afternoon.
Now adays Dh gives me a check anywhere from Wednesday - Friday so , I am all screwed up with my scedule

I used to be a wing it girl too but have noticed that I do better with my budget when I do my groceries in two stages. I go once at the beginning of a flyer week and then again at the end of the flyer week....so basically I spread my shopping out over two fairly quick trips. Why? I find that I hit a lot of the "reduced for quick sale" fresh meats at the end of a flyer week when the stores are gearing up for their next week of sales and then I cash in on the current flyer sales when I go shopping on the "second" outing.
Gosh it makes so much sense when I'm doing it but typed out I have no idea if this makes sense to anyone but me hahahaha!

I like to go on Thursdays because our grocery sales start on Thursdays. I work every-other Thursday though, so that doesn't always work. It drives me crazy to go on the weekends because it seems like everyone else is out doing their shopping and the crowds drive me bonkers

We go on Sunday or Saturday so dh can help me.

Typically on Saturdays. And, DH buys stuff if we need something during the week when he returns from work. I dare not take DD shopping alone during the week, so I go alone when DD is taking a nap on the weekends.

I try to go during the middle of the week...Tuesday, wednesday or Thursday. It just depends when we run out of fresh fruits and veggies.

I go whenever we need groceries and I have the time. I only do my major shopping every 3 weeks or so. I never have any real schedule.
