Since we're a large family, it would be either Costco or Smart&Final.
Smart&Final is a smaller "warehouse-type" store. The prices are as good as, or cheaper, than Costco for items we buy. They do have some meat and produce, but not the selection as Costco. Another big plus is that it's within walking distance (2 blocks) from our home.
We don't have Super-Walmart's here or my first choice would be them. I really do think they are the cheapest around for the minimum food items that they carry here. If we had a full WalMart grocery, I'd shop there most often.
I don't shop our regular "grocers" anymore (Ralph's, Vons). I used to be a major coupon shopper years ago, but now I'm tired of all of their coupon games. I used to be able to use 3 like coupons at a time, and they would double, so I could stock up very quickly. Now, it would take me 3 trips to do the same thing. And Ralph's in our area no longer doubles $1 coupons.
